Charles Culberson Bogan III, 39, passed away on July 3, 2026, in Alvarado, Texas. He was born on February 28, 1987, in Chicago, Illinois, to Brenda Joyce Bogan Hyatt and David Bogan.

Charles spent his childhood growing up in Chicago before making Fort Worth, Texas, his home for many years. At the time of his passing, he resided in Alvarado, Texas.

On May 27, 2023, Charles married his best friend and the love of his life, Amanda D. Knotts-Bogan. Their marriage was built on friendship, laughter, and unwavering love. He was also the proud and devoted father of his cherished daughter, Taylor Bogan of Durango, Colorado, who brought immeasurable joy and pride to his life.

Charles dedicated many years of his career as a short-haul truck driver. He took great pride in his work and earned the respect of those who knew him through his strong work ethic and skill behind the wheel. His love for big trucks extended beyond his profession—it was one of his lifelong passions.

An avid outdoorsman, Charles found peace and happiness in nature. Whether he was fishing, hiking, or simply enjoying the fresh air, the outdoors was where he felt most at home. He also loved surfing, ice hockey, motorcycles, and spending time with those he loved. Family meant everything to Charles, and some of his happiest moments were those shared with his loved ones. He was affectionately known as "Mom's Precious Boy" and fondly remembered for his love of "Tiger by the Tail," a nickname that always brought a smile to those who knew him.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, David Bogan; his aunt, Donna Bogan; his grandparents, Margaret and Chuck Bogan; his uncle, LT Sebren and his wife, Sandra; his uncle, Kenneth Mooter; and his grandfather, Alvin Chambers.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Amanda D. Knotts-Bogan; his treasured daughter, Taylor Bogan of Durango, Colorado; his loving mother, Brenda Joyce Bogan Hyatt; his bonus dad, Max Hyatt, who loved Charles as his own; along with numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness, loyalty, and generous spirit.

Charles will be remembered for his adventurous heart, his hardworking nature, his deep love for his family, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. Though his time here was far too short, the love he shared and the legacy he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
