Carl Phillip Dvorcek, Sr., beloved husband, father, and papa drew his last breath on June 21, 2020 surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Wheeling, WV on 1/29/1948 and resided in Bridgeport, OH until he met and married the love of his life, Rosalie, on June 3, 1967. Together they raised their sons Carl Jr. and Paul David Dvorcek. Shortly after their wedding, he entered the US Navy where he worked his way up to Chief Petty Officer retiring in 1987. He then worked as a Naval Contractor in the submarine community retiring in 2017. It was said that due to his dedication and patriotism, the submarine community is a better place. He was a lifelong musician playing any stringed instrument and singing with his wife in several local bands. His proudest moment was becoming a Papa to his three grandsons, Cameron, Trevor, and Jackson. They were the light in his eye. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl August and Hattie, son Paul David, brothers Michael (Nancy) and Gregory. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rosalie, his son Carl, Jr. (Ricky), daughter in law Kristina Wigington (Bo), grandsons, Cameron, Trevor, and Jackson, brothers, Gary, Dennis, and Bryan (Charlene), sisters Sandra Wilson(Melroy), Brenda Dupke (Tom), and Tina Boyd, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
