Bobby passed away on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 in the hospital, where he had been sick for a couple of weeks.
Bobby was born November 16th, 1950, in Hamilton, Texas to Dan and Dorothy Shafer. He was the second of six children. The Shafers moved to Alvarado in 1958 where Bobby went to school and graduated in 1969. He then went into the U.S. Navy for 2 years before returning to Alvarado to work for K.W.S. till his retirement, where he spent helping friends and family.
The Hill family loved Bobby as their own and thank the Lord for the time they were able to share with Bobby
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Dorothy Shafer, and one brother, James Lloyd Shafer.
Bobby is survived by his wife Eva Hill, brother Alan Shafer, his 3 sisters Mary ''Sissy'' Woolard, Lisa Yawn, and Jody Stockton, daughters Brandi Shafer and Amber Hovey, grandson Preston Hovey as well as 7 nieces, 4 nephews, 6 great nieces and 10 great nephews.
