Bobby Lee Brooks

Bobby Lee Brooks passed away June 2, 2024  at Crowley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on April 12, 1953 in Grandview Texas to Charles Jr. and Nida Brooks. Bobby graduated from Alvarado High School and was a lifelong resident of Alvarado. He was a truck driver who loved traveling across the country. Bobby enjoyed drag racing and he loved working on race cars and Rock & Roll. 

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Charles Jr. and Nida Brooks, his brother Jerry Don Brooks and his brother in law, Billy (Puggy) Sumrall, John Cargnino, Jerry McElroy and Wade Barron.

He is survived by his daughter Misty Lewis and husband Chad, son Rowdy Brooks, daughter Shelly Neher and husband Adam. Six grandchildren, Cole, Brandon, Richard, James, Kennedy and Preston, two great grandchildren Bentley and Shelby.Bobby is survived by brother Kenneth Brooks and wife Paula, sisters Gloria Cargnino, Barbara Payne and husband Ron, Kathy Brooks, Katherine Barron, Martha Wetherby, Belinda McElroy, Jo Ann Greenslade and husband Marty and numerous nieces and nephews.
