Billie Fay (Lang) Glover
June 2, 1931 – July 13, 2026
Billie Fay (Lang) Glover, 95, of Alvarado, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026.
Billie was born on June 2, 1931, in Wellington, Texas, to Carl Lester Lang and Essie Anderson Lang. She graduated from Slidell High School, earned an associate's degree, and dedicated 25 years of service to Lockheed Martin as a secretary. Billie was a faithful member of the Alvarado Church of Christ and was well known throughout the Alvarado community, where she spent most of her life.
On March 4, 1951, Billie married the love of her life, Marion Glover. Together they shared 69 wonderful years of marriage, raising their family and building a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. They especially enjoyed their years living on Lake Alvarado, where Billie loved gardening, sewing, and caring for her home.
Billie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marion Glover; her parents, Carl Lester Lang and Essie Anderson Lang; and her siblings, Dale Lang, Jesse Lang, Bobby Joe Lang, Mack Lang, Ray Lang, and Sue Tennison.
She is survived by her loving children, Larry Robert Glover and wife, Cindy; Randy Glover and wife, Kay Dawn; and Tammy Krynik and husband, Mitch. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Amber Wilhite and husband, Robert; Aaron Glover and wife, Kaylee; and Jessica Thornell and husband, William; as well as her treasured great-grandchildren, Braelyn, Madelyn, Kinzlyn, Ryan, and Jordan.
Billie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for her family, her strong work ethic, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and servant's heart will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home in Alvarado.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bolivar Cemetery in Sanger, Texas.
