Barbara Jean (Fahs) Sanders

Barbara Jean Sanders went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, May 25, 2026. She was full of life and joy and was a blessing to everyone who met her. Barbara loved skiing in Colorado, cooking, traveling with family and friends, flipping houses, and serving at church in the singles and children’s departments.

She married the love of her life, David Dwaine Sanders, in September of 1992. Together, their family made homes in both Colorado and Texas.

Barbara was blessed with seven children: Theodore “Teddy” Weglicki, Thomas “Tommy” Weglicki, Nathan Musick, Stephanie Sanders, Mason Sanders, Christopher Sanders, and Amber Sanders. She cherished her 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her family was everything to her, and she loved and served them all faithfully.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lorraine Fahs, and her brother, Ricky Fahs.

She is survived by her devoted husband, David Sanders; her children, Teddy Weglicki, Tommy Weglicki, Nathan Musick, Stephanie Sanders, Mason Sanders, Christopher Sanders, and Amber and Royce Walker; along with her 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
