Armando Flores Martinez

Armando Flores Martinez, born November 27, 1947 to Crisanta and Isabel Martinez passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, January 18, 2022. Mando was a hard-working carpenter who lived for his family. He was a man of very few words, so when he spoke, you would listen. If you were fortunate enough to have met him, you knew he was an unforgettable soul.

He is preceded in death by his parents and many siblings. He is also preceded by his son, Martin (1997), his daughter Andrea (1998), his loving wife of nearly fifty years Feliz (2016), granddaughter Sara (2017) whom he raised and his daughter Martina (2021).

Armando is survived by his daughter, Sophia Beverly of Grandview, son Armando Martinez Jr. of Bonham, daughter, Christina Grimes of Grandview and granddaughter whom he raised, Stefanie Cadabona Martinez of Oklahoma and many nieces, nephews and grand babies and great grand grandbabies which he cherished dearly.

A visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday at Chambers Creek Baptist Church in Grandview, Texas. The visitation will be held from 12-2 pm and the service will begin at 2 pm. Internment will follow at the Grandview Cemetery where Mando will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Feliz.
