Angelina Cortez Maldonado     

November 18, 1923 – May 19, 2023

Angelina was born to Jose & Maria Cortez on November 18, 1923 in Mexico. Angelina married Epifanio G. Maldonado on June 8, 1958 in Cleburne, Texas. She was a loving and devoted wife and was blessed to spend 62 wonderful years with her husband. She had the most loving and caring nature, she cared for everyone she met, including all sorts of wildlife! She was lovingly referred to as "Nana" by not only her family, but by everyone she encountered. She enjoyed loving on her grandkids and keeping lots of beautiful flowers around. Every day was an opportunity for her to get dressed up, she believed an outfit wasn't complete without jewelry and "fixing her face". She will be remembered for her kind soul and caring heart.

Children, Jesse Cortez and wife Brenda of Granbury, Texas, Child, Tiffany,  Raymond Maldonado and wife Shelly of Alvarado, Texas, Children, Ryan, Angela, and Stephen,  Patricia Lowery and husband James of Alvarado, Texas, Children, Bianca (Loving Caregiver) and Conner,  Erica Vyers and husband Billy of Crowley, Texas, Children, Christian and Dexter.

Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Brother, Joe Bob Cortez, Sister, Nautilla Hammond.

Preceded in Death by:

Husband, Epifanio G Maldonado, parents, Jose’ & Maria Cortez, grandson, Conner Lowery, sisters, Mary Cavazos and Billie Palmer and brother, Herman Cortez.
