Adelfa Castillo Diaz, 74, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, Texas.

Adelfa was born in Taft, Texas on April 27, 1951, to Marcial and Natividad Castillo.Adelfa was a housewife and loving mother to two children, Antonioand Laura Mancinas. She enjoyed celebrating their birthdays throughout the years. She loved and enjoyed her time with her grandchildren Celeste Mancinas, Dante Mancinas, Victoria Diaz and Nicholas Diaz. She enjoyed family gatherings, especially at Christmas and Easter. One of her hobbies was collecting small bells, some figurine dolls and animal figurines. On occasions she would go on trips with her sisters. She will be truly and deeply missed by her family and friends.Adelfa is preceded in death by her parents, Marcial and Natividad Castillo, by her oldest sister Julia Castillo and two brothers Pedro Castillo and Albert Castillo.Adelfa is survived by her husband, Gerardo Diaz and her two children, Antonio Diaz and his wife Debbie and their two children Victoria and Nicholas Diaz; and her daughter, Laura Diaz Mancinas and her husband Braulio Mancinas, Jr. and their two children Celeste and Braulio Dante Mancinas III. And her brothers, Santos Castillo, Raul Castillo, Daniel Castillo, Johnny Castillo and Jesse Castillo, her sisters, Angelita Ballejo, Gloria Guerra, Ernestina Castillo, Janie Aleman and Theresa Castillo. Several nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.
