Sonia Gean McLeroy

Sonia Combess McLeroy, of Mineral Wells, passed away September 16, 2018, at age 91.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to so many.  “Granny Mac” and her beautiful spunky spirit will be greatly missed.

Sonia was born January 13, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Clarence Combess and Ethel Holland Combess.  On June 12, 1965 she married James Orlando “Mr. Mac” McLeroy in Waxahachie, TX. 

She is preceded in death by her husband James O. McLeroy, daughter Norma King, son Leslie Lott and parents Clarence and Ethel Combess.

Sonia is survived by her son Ronnie Lott; and grandchildren, Scott and Becky Lott, Christy and Corey Fitts, and Kyle and Kalie Lott; and son in law Mike King. She also leaves behind a number of great grandchildren whom she adored.

Visitation Thursday, September 20th from 10:00-11:00
