John Kennard Lawrence Jr.

“Bubba” John Lawrence Jr, 67, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Mansfield, Texas after he fought a hard battle with his disease.

Funeral: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral, Alvarado, Texas. Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment: Glenwood Cemetery, Alvarado, Texas.

“Bubba” John Kennard Lawrence was born May 27, 1951 in Cleburne, Texas the son of Joyce Marquetta Hanson and John Kennard Lawrence, Sr. He married Donna Gail Poston June 16, 1978 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. “Bubba” was very proud of his employment history working for Ramtech Manufacturing for more then 32 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, son and brother. He did not believe in judging people. He believed you should treat others the way you would want to be treated. “Bubba” never complained. He was happy as long as his family was happy. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Kay Bush and Patty Lawrence; and mother-in-law, Patricia Poston.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 41 years, Donna; sons, Kenny Lawrence and wife Sue, Chad Lawrence, Aaron Lawrence and wife Robin, Craig Lawrence and partner Travis; daughters, Brandy Brown and husband Mike, Jeanna Stephenson; 14 grandchildren; sister Debra Hemann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
