James "Jim" Clark McCreight, 60, passed away October 1, 2018 at Dallas Baylor Hospital in the presence of his wife and daughters.
Jim was born May 11, 1958 to James Hosea and Dorothea Ann Campbell McCreight. He was very active as a boy and enjoyed playing baseball.
Jim graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1988 and then he graduated from Paralegal School in1998. As a young man he became very involved with the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and met Cora, his wife of 35 years.
He worked as a paralegal for Baron & Budd and Sears & Foster Law Firms. While at Baron & Budd, the family moved to Colorado where they enjoyed going up in the mountains.
Jim was an intellectual man, an avid reader, and extremely knowledgeable in trivia. He collected Coca-Cola memorabilia, golfed, and made (mostly) good dad puns, however at his daughters' chagrin.
He fought a long battle with non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis and is now at peace with his mother, father, sister, and beloved pets.
Jim is survived by wife Cora, daughters Kristen, 31, and Karen, 28.
The family asks for donations to be made to the Arlington Humane Society in lieu of flowers in his memory.
