Amanda Kaye Kirkland-Carey, 30, went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2019.
Amanda was born on November 26, 1988 in Fort Worth, Texas to Donna (Damron) and Rodney Kirkland. Amanda graduated from Alvarado High School in 2007. Amanda was first a daughter, then a sister, a friend, a wife. A loving, independent, strong-willed woman. Most of all though, she was a mother. She mothered her parents, her siblings, her husband even. She loved deeply and fiercely with all of her heart to everyone. Amanda was a mother to her three beautiful children who she loved more than anything or anyone.
2 Kings 4:30
Then the mother of the child said, "As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you."
