William Dale Huddleston, aka "Wild Willie or Bill", 68 passed away suddenly at his home in Azle, Texas, Thursday, February 28, 2019.
A Celebration of Life will be held at “Wild Bill’s home in Azle, 12 noon to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13th by his daughter and friends,
Bill was born August 20, 1950 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Doyle Lawson Huddleston and Frances Ellen Calhoun Huddleston.
There are many trials & tribulations in any life. How a man faces these challenges determines his character. Bill was a man who challenged the world to throw at him something he couldn't overcome. Through his unflinching resolve & his fixed determination, Bill forged a path through life that was not easy, but left those he loved prepared to face a world that is even more unmovable than himself.
He enjoyed tinkering around his home & shop after he retired from his mechanic work. A lifelong passion for motorcycles, he enjoyed riding with his friends & loved to take his daughter with him as much as possible. When he wasn't riding, you could find him sitting on his porch, soaking up the sunshine of life, laughing at his dogs & chickens while they were playing & harassing anyone willing to visit.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Huddleston, his brother James Huddleston, and his parents, Doyle and Frances Huddleston. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy and her husband Walter Steele; grandson, Gage Nugent and his father, Chance Nugent; his brother, Norman Huddleston; his sisters, Joelene Huddleston, Brenda Dick, and Shelley McCutcheon; and his best friend, Josie Wells; and many dear friends.
