Jeanne R Beckum

Jeanne Renee Beckum passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church in Alvarado.

Jeanne who was also known as Renee to many of her friends retired from the U.S. Navy and worked at Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Masters Gardeners and the Alvarado Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita Dossey and Cecil Beckum, four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include brother Jack Henderson, Thomas Dossey, Ted Dossey, and Cecil Beckum; sisters, Patsy Wallace, Hazel Stillwell, and Frankie Appling; Aunt Laquita and numerous close cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Many heartfelt thanks to all her great friends who have been so helpful to her.
