James Rhoades Obituary

James "Julio" Rhoades, 74, passed away at his home surrounded by family, Thursday, October 10, 2019. Julio was born July 21, 1945 in Dumas, Texas the son of William Melvin and Rebecca Fannie Smart Rhoades. He served in the United States Army. Later he was a truck driver. Julio married Carol Ann Richardson September 2, 1976.

He is preceded in death by his parents Rebecca Fannie Smart and William Melvin Rhoades; his brothers, William Melvin Jr and Jerry Don; and his sisters, Greda Glenzele Bryant and Melba Jene Harris

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Carol R. Rhoades of 43 years of Alvarado, TX; step-son, Solomon Anderson; his step-daughter, Sharyl Moffit; brothers Robert Rhoades; sister, Barbara Pafford, and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
