James Monroe Obituary

James Lee Monroe passed away on August 14, 2019 peacefully at home in Alvarado Texas. James was born July 22, 1945 in Decatur Texas. He was the son of Jake Monroe and Mae Dell Monroe. He was in the Army Reserves for several years. He was a lover of old cars, camping, motorcycles and 4-wheelers. He loved old Western's. He could never meet a stranger, and didn't mind telling anyone his life stories. He was married to his Late Wife Mary Jo Shoemaker Monroe for 45 years. He is proceeded in death by his parents Jake and Mae Dell Monroe, his wife Mary Jo Shoemaker and cousin George Monroe. Living: Sister Patsy Hatton and husband Danny, Son Tony Monroe and wife Shelley, Son Chris Monroe and wife Wanda, Daughter Michelle Bullard and husband Dolan, Son Jake Monroe and wife Allie. Grandchildren Dillon Monroe, JT Monroe and wife Ashrya, Granddaughters Ashley and Alan White, Grandson Colton and Samantha Monroe, and Cody Monroe, Granddaughters' Heaven Bullard and Angel Bullard, Granddaughter Izzy Monroe, and Grandson Bentley Monroe. He also had 11 great grandchildren.
